Lindsey O’Connell, MSSW 2017, Featured in UT 40 Under 40

Lindsey O’Connell was recently named in the University of Tennessee 2022 class of Volunteer 40 Under 40.  Volunteer 40 Under 40 recognizes forty alumni under the age of 40 who have excelled personally and professionally since completing their degree at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Bio: Lindsey O’Connell is the vice president of clinical operations for Freeman Recovery Center, an addiction treatment center dedicated to helping individuals heal from substance use disorders through the entire continuum of evidence-based care. Previously, she was the clinical supervisor for the Tennessee Lawyers Assistance Program, an agency of the Tennessee Supreme Court that provides behavioral health services to judges, attorneys, and law students. Her past clinical work spans the continuum of care for behavioral health including acute psychiatric hospitalization, residential treatment, psychiatric rehabilitation, community mental health, and outpatient counseling.
