Stephen McGarity Receives Top Paper Award at Conference

Stephen McGarity

Assistant Professor Stephen McGarity recently presented his paper on the extra costs of disability at the American Council on Consumer Interests (ACCI) annual conference. In addition to being a presenter, McGarity’s paper was the recipient of the 2021 Richard L. D. Morse Applied Consumer Economics Professional Paper Award, which is their top award.

The goals of the conference are to learn about programs and research in the wide field of consumer science, to network so as to learn what others are doing, to become refreshed and stimulated in one’s own work, and to keep up the new connections made at the conference.
