Two faculty members have taken on additional roles for the college in an effort to bring more focus on external engagement and service goals.

Carmen Foster has taken on the role of Director of Alumni Affairs. In this new role, Foster will provide leadership and coordinate outreach to College of Social Work alumni and other social workers. She will work to identify and respond to alumni needs across the state and globally, while maintaining strong working relationships with key partners. A special focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion as it relates to outreach and engagement will take place.

Kelly Martin is the new Director of International Education and will be responsible for the advising and facilitation of study/field abroad planning for BSSW and MSSW students, as well as consulting with faculty on the development of faculty-led programs. Martin will be the coordinator for the Peace Corps Coverdell Fellowship Program, and the application and selection process for the Rukeyser Fund for International Study. Additionally, she will develop international placement and study abroad experiences in collaboration with field and other faculty, Programs Abroad, and/or with international NGOs.
Thanks to each of them for agreeing to serve.
