UTCSW alumni are involved in enhancing the well-being of individuals in every sector of society. Our alumni work in hospitals and schools, lead nonprofit organizations, run therapeutic practices, and advocate as community organizers. The Alumni Council at the UTCSW was formed in the summer of 2021 to engage UTCSW alumni nationwide. The council has been instrumental in supporting the continuing education efforts of the UTCSW and engaging alumni in events across the state of Tennessee. We welcome any alumni to lend their voices and their social work expertise to help support the council’s efforts.
Alumni Spotlight
Jennifer Trail, MSSW, LAPSW
Jen currently serves as the Assistant Director in the Office of Strategic Initiatives for the Tennessee Department of Health. She is a member of the Tennessee Public Health Association and a graduate of the Department of Health Commissioner’s Leadership Academy.
Tianna Madison
US track and field Olympian Tianna Madison graduates with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW) degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, online program.
Continuing Education
The College of Social Work frequently hosts affordable CEU events to help you meet requirements. Additionally, the CSW has postgraduate certificate programs to help you further your career.
