Student Learning Outcomes Reports

The ten core social work competencies defined by Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) in its Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards (EPAS) are used at both the generalist (foundation) curriculum level and the specialization (advanced) curriculum level. CSWE’s Commission on Accreditation (COA), recognized as the accrediting organization for social work education at the BSSW and MSSW levels by the national Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), is actively promoting enhanced accountability to the public by documenting student learning outcomes.

In response to this initiative, the College of Social Work is posting the following documents on its website in order to enable its stakeholders to analyze and evaluate documented student outcomes in relation to nationally established and recognized areas of competence. Information includes a variety of measures with accompanying benchmarks for success as well as the percentage of students achieving the established benchmarks.
