I was born and raised in Alcoa and always wanted to go to UT. I received my associates degree in social work from Roane State Community College before transferring to UT for my Bachelors degree in Spring 2024 and I graduated from the BSSW program Summer 2025. I used my degree to get started as a social worker in foster care and just recently started the Advanced Standing MSSW online program. I am really interested in working within the justice system and at-risk youth. I look forward to all that I will learn in the MSSW program.
