Professor Bill Nugent recently won the Faculty Research Mentor Award for the Exhibition of Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement (EURēCA).  

The Faculty Research Mentor Award is awarded to a faculty member for being an outstanding mentor of student research, scholarship, and creative activity. The winner also provided a quality environment for students to grow in their capabilities and further their professional development, while providing leadership and advice beyond just the classroom setting.

The Exhibition of Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement (EURēCA) is an annual event that showcases research and creative activities across all disciplines by currently enrolled undergraduate students in collaboration with a University of Tennessee, Knoxville or UTIA faculty mentor.
