Harper Kline is a senior BSSW student from Nashville, TN, with a strong passion for child welfare, disability rights, and all aspects of equity and justice. She is a proud member of the Bachelor’s Social Work Organization (BSWO) and is deeply grateful for the experiences and opportunities she has gained through both the College of Social Work and BSWO.
One of her favorite things about UT is the unique opportunities the Social Work program provides, as well as the supportive, inspiring people she’s met within the College of Social Work. Harper is extremely excited to experience her first-year field placement in Kenya at a children’s home and school. She looks forward to sharing her new experiences and perspectives with her peers.
After graduation, she plans to pursue her LCSW and work in child advocacy. Outside of her academic and professional interests, she enjoys reading, running, playing guitar, and spending time in nature.
