George Dupuy is in his final year of the DSW, Class of 2022. He feels that the best part of his experience by far is learning from those in his cohort. “There’s such a wealth of experience and knowledge in that group,” Dupuy said. “I would not have made it this far without them.”

Social Work is a second career for Dupuy. “I was drawn to enter the field because of the desire to assist others in finding wellness and healing,” he said. “Social Work seemed like a natural path to take to achieve my goals of helping others. It was the best decision I could have made.”

Dupuy is looking forward to graduation and continuing his learning through everyday practice.

“Right now, I am teaching and doing direct clinical practice with psychotherapy,” he said. “I look forward to continuing on that trajectory and sharpening those skills after I graduate and into the future.
